Weather puts a dampener on Slaley Show
One of the region's oldest country shows has fallen victim to wet weather, even before it arrives.
The Slaley Show in Northumberland is more than 170 years old but this Saturday's show has been cancelled.
With heavy rain and high winds forecast for tomorrow organisers fear the show ground will be unfit for use.
They say they've taken the decision for the sake of the public, traders, and animals due to attend.
